As a testing laboratory, we offer comprehensive analytical chemistry services for nicotine liquids. The scope of activities includes: the development of new analytical methods and analyses conducted in accordance with ISO 17025:2018-02. We perform approximately 15 000 analyses annually for nicotine as well as other components of e-liquids. On top of that we conduct analytical chemistry of aerosols generated from e-cigarettes. For this, we use specially adapted SmokeMachines. The generated aerosol is then being analysed.

The department of development of flavors and nicotine liquids was established in 2014 and since then its main task has been to create recipes for new products (in closed and open systems) as well as to modify existing ones. The developed products will go to the global portfolio of the BAT group. In the scope of activity there is also a research part, to ensure the highest quality of the product, each nicotine liquid undergoes a series of tests before being released for production, starting from stability tests through aging tests.

The Department of the eSmoking Institute Sensory Panel is a unit responsible for coordinating and conducting sensory panels in accordance with the methodology. Our panelists, under the constant watchful eye of the Panel Leader, are constantly training in the field of sensory analysis of products. Thanks to this, the products we offer to customers meet their expectations. In addition, we are responsible for constantly maintaining a high level of sensory quality of products already on the market

The Product Safety and Compliance Department of eSmoking Institute is a unit responsible for ensuring compliance of products with the latest standards and norms. The team of Product Safety and Compliance Specialists monitors changes and updates of international regulations on an ongoing basis and ensures that the products offered to customers meet all the required criteria and that the product is completely safe for the user. We support the geographical expansion of products into sales markets and oversee and manage the documentation and data related to the products in the portfolio.

The Samples HUB department is responsible for managing the tax warehouse and all related legal and operational tasks. We make it a priority to ensure full compliance with current laws, especially those related to excise and importers of samples for research and development. We focus on excise duty, customs law, and broader tax and fiscal regulations.

The Quality Assurance department is responsible for establishing, implementing, managing and maintaining quality management systems at eSmoking Institute. The main tasks include monitoring processes, developing standards and procedures, solving quality problems and ensuring continuous process improvement. The aim is to ensure consistent quality at all stages of the Institute. The department oversees the Integrated Quality System according to EN ISO 9001:2015 and is qualified to conduct internal audits. The entire department is committed to eSmoking Institute customer satisfaction by ensuring a high level of product and service quality.
